Here in Michigan, there is an increased awareness of 'lake levels'-- the relative fill rate compared to capacity (highest levels) of the Great Lakes. The information about our water quality and water levels is on the rise, along with the amount of concern and conversation about this resource (that in my opinion, will power the 'rust belt' in the future).
